RAISE is a collaborative festive fundraising event, produced by B4, that is calling on B4 members and the wider Oxfordshire business network to support its ambition of raising £50,000 for Oxfordshire good causes.
Throughout 2025 with a growing calendar of official Raise'25 Events PLUS informal events and initiatives run by those who are fundraising for Raise'25. See more about the Calendar of Events HERE.
To start fundraising for Raise'25 all you have to do is pay your administration fee HERE and we will send you more information about setting up a fundraising page on the secure Enthuse platform we use courtesy of Oxfordshire Community Foundation.
Raise'24 will be raising money for five core charities, those being Homeless Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire Community Foundation, Oxfordshire Youth, Plunkett UK and Sobell House, as well as five partnering causes which are Connection Support, Be Free Young Carers, Survivor Space Oxfordshire and two more to be announced.
You can enter as an individual or as a team, it's completely up to you!
We’re asking each person to raise at least £500 and whilst we don't want you to see that as a limit, it's not a must do...the main thing is you're trying!
As soon as we have received your administration fee and you have set up your Enthuse platform page you can start fundraising. You can even add offline donations so if you're already done something and want to add the funds to your total you can do so very easily.
These are donations that have been pledged prior to the final event at Rhodes House on November 26th. These will need to be realised to ensure they are taken into account for your total on 26th November.
Just the admin fee of £25+VAT per person. For Raise'24 we charged for tickets to the event at Keble College but this year we are hoping to get as much of the final event sponsored as possible and will open up ticket booking later this year. This might be linked to how much you have raised so with only 150 spots available, get cracking with the fundraising ASAP!
Whilst B4 invest a lot of time in the Raise event we have decided, with the agreement of the Gold charities, to charge an administration fee for everyone that enters Raise'25. This is as much a commitment from the individuals to raise funds as it is a contribution towards our time invested in Raise in terms of event organisation, website design, social media promotion, strategy, team liaison and much more. If you would like to discuss this with Richard, please call him on 07774 257061 or e-mail richard@b4-business.com.
Funds raised will be held by Oxfordshire Community Foundation (OCF) in a dedicated B4 Raise Fund, which will allow Gift Aid to be added where relevant. OCF will then distribute funds to the beneficiary charities as grants in 2025.
The total raised through the Raise event will be divided equally across six ‘pots’. Five of those pots will be donated to the five core (Gold) charities, while the sixth pot will be shared among the partnering (Silver) charities.
There are three ways you can support the event if you’re not able to fundraise. Firstly you can make a donation direct to the Enthuse platform here: Oxfordshire Community Foundation: B4 Raise'25 . Alternatively we can speak to you about a tailored way your organisation can support RAISE’25. For example, restaurants can have donation cards on their tables with a QR code linking directly through to the donation page, or your organisation can run a fundraising event where the proceeds go direct to Raise'25 or, like one partner we will be announcing shortly, you can host a golf day where the proceeds go to the fund. Anything is possible! Or you can sponsor - see more about sponsorship HERE.
